Wired Word

In a time when it is important to have a place for meaningful discussions about current events and to consider what the bible might say about them, the Wired Word offers that opportunity.

The Wired Word is a study group that is initially presented online. A nondenominal panel chooses current articles from the news,  summarizes them, offers discussion questions, related bible passages and questions, and additional sites that offer more information on the topic.  It sounds like a lot, but it is very doable. The articles are emailed to participants. On Sunday the group meets at 11am to discuss and to share thoughts about the chosen topic.

If you are interested in participating in the Wired Word please contact Judy Hinderliter or the church office ( 607-533-4070) to share your email.
