DESCRIPTION:In a time when it is important to have a place for meaningful d
iscussions about current events and to consider what the bible might say a
bout them\, the Wired Word offers that opportunity.\nThe Wired Word is a s
tudy group that is initially presented online. A nondenominal panel choose
s current articles from the news\,  summarizes them\, offers discussion q
uestions\, related bible passages and questions\, and additional sites tha
t offer more information on the topic.  It sounds like a lot\, but it is
very doable. The articles are emailed to participants. On Sunday the group
meets at 11am to discuss and to share thoughts about the chosen topic.\nI
f you are interested in participating in the Wired Word please contact Jud
y Hinderliter or the church office ( 607-533-4070) to share your email.
