About our Coordinator of Youth Ministries
Kevin Dunn has been serving as our Coordinator of Youth Ministries at LUMC since December of 2006. Originally from Cazenovia, NY, Kevin is a graduate of Juniata College, with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Education. Kevin has also worked many summers at Casowasco Camp and Retreat Center, serving as a Kitchen Assistant, Counselor, Counselor Coordinator, Program Director, and Spiritual Life Coordinator.

Favorite foods: pizza (do youth workers survive on anything else?), good apples & apple cider, waffles, ice cream

Favorite books: The Lord of the Rings, anything by C.S. Lewis, Bill Bryson books

A word from Kevin: I grew up going to church, but as soon as I had the option I stopped going. But life apart from God can only be so fulfilling, and it’s only because of some amazing experiences with God that my life turned around and I’m where I am today. My hope for the youth of LUMC and the greater Lansing area that they see the role that God has in their lives, that He loves them unconditionally, and that their true purpose is to live a life that’s honoring to God.
