Lansing Quilters
Since 1981, a group of quilters has
met at LUMC for stitching and fellowship. Each Tuesday morning
throughout the year, the women can be found basting, quilting, or
assembling beautiful quilts.
Over the years, quilts have been created for babies of congregation members and for children in need. Quilting is also done to raise money for various charitable projects. Among past projects the proceeds have been used to support are:
