Lansing Food Pantry

The Lansing Food Pantry is housed at our church.  Our Pantry is part of the Tompkins Country Food Distribution Network, a group of sixteen food pantries located all over Tompkins County.  The more than 500 volunteers of the network distribute over two million pounds of food each year.

Our goal is to make sure that everyone in Lansing has enough to eat and that no one goes hungry. We provide high quality food at no cost to our clients.

Our clients are residents of Lansing who have trouble getting enough to eat for themselves and their families, including:

  • People who are unemployed, or whose jobs don't pay enough to make ends meet
  • People whose public assistance is not enough to feed them
  • People receiving mental health services
  • People with disabilities
  • People who are homeless
  • People in crisis
  • Senior Citizens
  • Anyone else who needs food
Food distribution occurs one Monday a month year-round, with additional Mobile Food Pantry deliveries once a month from May to October.
