Church World Service Kits
Many members of our church are involved in assembling kits for distribution by Church World Service (CWS), a cooperative ministry of 35 Protestant, Orthodox, and Anglican denominations, providing sustainable self-help and development, disaster relief, and refugee assistance around the world. Founded in 1946, CWS works with partners to eradicate hunger and poverty and to promote peace and justice around the world.Church World Service Kits are small packages of supplies assembled by volunteers and shipped to people in need around the world. Our church assembles School Kits, Hygiene Kits and Baby Care Kits year-round to help ensure Kits are available for immediate response whenever needed.
The contents of each Kit have been selected with care based on years of experience to make them as useful as possible, wherever and whenever they are sent..
