Welcome to theLansing United Methodist Church! |
|
Lansing United Methodist Church is a vibrant and welcoming Christian community of families with young children, youth, singles and seniors. We're dedicated to Christian growth through our Church School which offers classes for children, youth and adults. |
|
We are located on Route 34B at
32 Brickyard Road in
Lansing, New York (about seven miles northwest of Ithaca), overlooking
the
gorgeous Cayuga Lake.
We usually hold our service on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m., with fellowship time immediately following and Sunday School for all ages from 10:30 - 11:30. There are nursery facilities provided during the service and Sunday School. On the last Sunday in June and all Sundays in July we worship on Sunday mornings at beautiful Myers Park in Lansing. Our contemporary worship service, The Fireplace, is on hiatus through the month of May! Please join us at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3rd for a campfire picnic! Draw near to God in a different way: the songs and message may be different, but the adoration and desire to worship God are the same. Children are welcome! (No nursery facilities are provided for this service.) Click here for more information! |

Here
at LUMC, we have a number of
different opportunities for you to get involved. Our faith guides us in
certain directions, in many ways toward service. Through the Food
Pantry, roadside cleanup, the Haiti Mission, Youth Mission, and more,
we serve others as Christ served us.
We also strive to continue growing in our faith, and do so thanks to
both women's and men's small groups, book studies, Sunday School, and
more.
